Change, it’s a word that can be a challenging in our lives. I guess it’s all about how we have moved through time in our lives. I can remember a time when I loved my creative life and my business and I did’t want anything to change. Well that's not possible as life is change and change is life!
The four seasons come and go each year to embrace that very thing. Change, it keeps us seeing the world around us in new ways. My partner passed away three and half years ago. I realize love lasts forever and I am here in the present to embrace the unknown and to accept the things I cannot.
The Fall is my favourite time of the year. There is quietness to the earths vibration. Nature is preparing for a rest and is protecting its own in the way it needs to.
For myself it is a creative time to reach into my ideas and explore them in the physical realm. I love to challenge myself by learning new techniques and making something that is purposeful and can lift someone’s spirit by using or owning it.
I enjoyed needle felting this year and created a series of picture brooches. You can get one from my shop or you can reach out to me you are interested to have a workshop making your own. I found the experience very meditative and fun. Happy Creative end of year.
